To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Abilis, the non-profit organization that provides services and support for individuals with special needs, is hosting a Valentine’s Dance for young adults and adults.

Abilis’ annual Valentine’s Party will be held at the Old Greenwich Civic Center on Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is open to adults of all ages with special needs. There will be Valentine’s party games, prizes for best costumes, music, dancing and plenty of food. The fee is $25.00

In addition, there are many other events scheduled through March as part of Abilis’ ongoing winter programs and activities, such as an all-inclusive adaptive ski trip to Windham Mountain and tickets to a special Broadway performance of Aladdin for an audience made up of children and adults with autism spectrum disorder or sensitivity issues.

Dozens of other ongoing activities and classes are scheduled this winter, including movie afternoons, bowling, Special Olympics ice skating, musical theater and cooking classes and karaoke night.
