Grow a unique tabletop Valentine garden all winter long with our resident horticulturalist, Chris Hadin. Children and teens will learn about horticulture with a project that goes from seed to table in 9 days. Microgreens are the sprouted seeds of vegetables such as broccoli, kale, cabbage and arugula, and are grown in soil and harvested with scissors when they are 1 to 2 inches tall. They’re full of many more vitamins, ounce of ounce, than the adult plants.
Class held in the Abilis Greenhouse.
