The Cohen Abilis Advancement Center
Officially Opened January 2025
The Cohen Abilis Advancement Center is Abilis' newest location at 78 Harvard Avenue in Stamford, Connecticut. The Center supports Abilis’ growing population, programs and services for individuals with disabilities throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Abilis Is Expanding
Thanks to a generous $3.78 million grant from the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation.
Abilis is expanding its footprint in lower Fairfield County with the purchase of a second location in Stamford, Connecticut, at 78 Harvard Avenue.
The 26,000 square foot building offers quality education, programs and services for those with disabilities of all ages.
78 Harvard Avenue in Stamford is the organization’s second location in Stamford, after The Therapy Center at Abilis, which is located on Summer Street. Abilis’ HQ will remain on Glenville Street in Greenwich.

The building's Phase 1 renovation
retrofitted it for accessibility and opened January 2025.
