The YMCA of Greenwich and Abilis will welcome guest speaker Marguerite Elisofon on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 2:30 to 5 p.m., to discuss her memoir, My Picture Perfect Family: What Happens When One Twin Has Autism. In this inspiring book, Marguerite chronicles her lifelong dedication to helping her twin daughter, Samantha, who was diagnosed as a toddler. She reveals how autism not only affects one person, but the whole family. Marguerite will discuss her experiences and what she has learned over the past 25 years, as she has gone through the highs and lows of having a family member living on the spectrum.

Learn about their incredible journey from fighting for Samantha’s educational opportunities in a time where there was little to no assistance available to watching her graduate college and pursue a career as a singer and actress.

The event takes place at the Greenwich YMCA, 50 East Putnam Ave. RSVP to Betsy Culeman at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 203-869-1630, ext. 306.
