Historic Westport home opens as affordable housing for residents with special needs

PDF Press Release

WESTPORT — The town’s latest effort to add affordable housing has opened for residents with special needs. A historic house on Riverside Ave. recently received a 40-year deed restriction for five units of affordable housing, four for people with special needs and one for a staff member.

“I’m thrilled to see that… it’s about to open and serve this community,” Selectwoman Andrea Moore said at the Board of Selectwomen meeting where the deed restriction was approved.
