Greenwich event to raise money for Abilis, ‘Olympics’ at synagogue and other celebrations

The 19th annual Walk/Run for Abilis will take place on Oct. 13, at the clam bake area at Greenwich Point Park in Old Greenwich. Participants can walk one mile or run a 5k. Participants are encouraged to register in advance at www.abilis.us/walkrun. Registration is free for walkers, $35 for 5k runners 12 and over or $5 for runners ages 11 and under.

This year’s Walk/Run for Abilis will feature the popular Carnival for a Cause, kids’ activities, Abilis Gardens & Gifts and more.
