GREENIWCH — A total of 100 golfers competed in the first annual Abilis Sound Therapy Golf Scramble at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course in Greenwich on Wednesday.

The best-ball, shotgun-start scramble included a continental breakfast, lunch, open bar and prizes. More than $20,000 was raised at the event to benefit the Abilis sound therapy program, as well as other unfunded therapies provided by the organization. Abilis is a Greenwich-based nonprofit organization that provides services and support for more than 700 individuals with special needs and their families.
