Community goes wild for Grahamberries

Blueberry season is Graham Moore’s favorite time of year, thanks to fruit grown on his family’s farm in upstate New York. Selling that harvest became Moore’s summer job.

“We would love for him to pick all the blueberries, but he ends up eating all the blueberries instead,” said Phillippa Orzulak, Moore’s mom. “Graham would take a little trolley  around our neighborhood in Greenwich go door-to-door and that is how we started, like that.”

The project that started with berries in plain plastic bags has now graduated to an entire brand

Profits from Grahamberries support the work of Abilis, which provides programs for people with developmental disabilities, including jobs at the organizations gift and garden store.

“It’s incredible, it’s incredible people have been looking at our website, calling, “When are the blueberries starting?” said Amy Montimurro, CEO and president of Abilis. “They look forward to seeing Graham and all of his friends.”
