Students in Connecticut are required to attend school from age 5 to 18. The government is required to provide a free APPROPRIATE education for all students regardless of their ability.
If your child is having difficulty in school – academic, behavioral, or social – he or she may be eligible for special services and accommodations.

Session 3: Civics, History & Laws
Session 4: Mock IEP Meeting & Ask the Special Education Attorney

Four (4), two (2) hour seminars co-taught in English & Spanish. Materials in English & Spanish. Family participation required for first 3 sessions to be eligible for Session 4. Different family members (mother, father, sibling over 18) can attend sessions 1-3 for Session 4 eligibility. Breakfast will be provided. Childcare available (please inform Abilis upon registration).
