The second Annual Dancing Stars of Greenwich Gala is a fundraising event full of all the fun, glitz and glamour of the hit TV show Dancing with the Stars! Local celebrities and community leaders will learn a polished choreographed routine and perform with a professional partner at the gala in a competition mirroring the television show. This format is the one used for ABC’s hit TV show. By donating to a couple, the audience will vote for the dancer they want to win the most. The top fundraiser is given the “People’s Choice Award”. This is like when callers vote for their favorite star on TV. A panel of celebrity judges will watch and decide the winner of the dancing contest who will receive the coveted mirror ball trophy.
