October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!

Abilis, Darien Library and The Café at Darien Library are proud to support and empower individuals with disabilities by providing the resources, training, and opportunities they need to succeed in the workplace. This year’s NDEAM theme, “Advancing Access & Equity,” aligns perfectly with Abilis’ mission to create a world where individuals with disabilities are fully included and have equal opportunities to thrive.

The Abilis Employment Services program provides employment and vocational training to more than 234 individuals at 100+ local businesses, including The Café at Darien Library! Together, we help foster independence, build skills, and connect people with meaningful work experiences. Thank you for your support and business.
