Volunteering
GET INVOLVED!
Abilis provides meaningful opportunities for the public to experience the tremendous satisfaction of serving others through volunteering. We have a wide variety of opportunities available across the Greenwich and Stamford communities. You can make the difference in the life of a person with a disability.
Volunteer opportunities range from regular weekly group or individual activities to one-time special events. Experiences may be direct with individuals of all ages or through committee or office work. All hours qualify for community service.
Share your skills and your hobbies with someone at Abilis. Volunteers can help someone:
- Learn to use a computer
- Enjoy a favorite hobby (arts, gardening, sewing, sports, etc)
- Learn to access community events and resources
- Learn to cook
There are so many more ways to help. We welcome your participation in the Abilis community!
