Hiring an Abilis crew begins with an email ( ) or telephone inquiry to Abilis’ property maintenance program (203-531-1880, ext. 154) for an appointment. A staff member will visit your home at your convenience to listen to your needs, evaluate the job and quote a competitive price for the work based on its size and complexity. Abilis work crews are insured, supervised at all times by Abilis job coaches and use Abilis equipment on the job. Proceeds help to pay wages as well as Abilis supply and equipment costs.
Abilis has many loyal customers who appreciate the fine work our crews perform at good value. Our goal is a satisfied customer every time, whether we do the job once a week, once a season – or once in a lifetime.
Landscaping Abilis crews perform a wide range of jobs around the home, from mowing lawns and planting to fertilizing/mulching and light trimming of shrubs. They also are experienced – some crew members have worked around homes in the Stamford-Greenwich area for many years.
Landscape Design Hire our award-winning greenhouse staff to suggest plantings – annuals or perennials; flowers, vegetables or shrubs - to fit your plot size, budget and dreams. If you wish, you can buy plants from the Abilis greenhouse or we can purchase plants and materials for you from one of our local suppliers.
Spring/Fall Cleanup Abilis crews can clear away winter’s debris and rake and fertilize your property to welcome spring – or pick up your leaves in the fall and prepare your property for winter.
Log-Splitting/Wood Removal When large tree limbs fall, a homeowner can be left with the mess and expense of having them hauled away or split and stacked into firewood. Abilis' wood services can be a terrific alternative. We will give you a competitive price to split your wood on site and stack it, providing pieces are no more than 24 inches long. Or you can donate the wood to Abilis and we will haul it away and sell it for firewood as an Abilis fundraiser.
Firewood Sales This is one of our most popular services. Order early! We run out of supply every year. Abilis accepts orders for firewood from about August through April. Our prices are very competitive. You name the quantity and we’ll provide free delivery in the immediate area or you can pick up your order at our Greenwich headquarters.
Abilis Greenhouse Tucked away in the Glenville neighborhood, our greenhouse is one of Greenwich’s hidden gems, with seasonal sales of houseplants/hanging baskets, roses, green carnations, Easter lilies, mums, pumpkins/colored corn and poinsettias, wreaths, cyclamen and amaryllis. We also have vegetables and flowering plants for sale during the growing season. Free local delivery available. Our prices are competitive and we aim to please. Come visit us! Greenhouse hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, 50 Glenville St., Greenwich. Let Abilis be your solution!
