Thursday, March 9 is Fairfield County’s Giving Day. Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising campaign designed to generate awareness of and funding for non-profit organizations in Fairfield County like Abilis. Donations to Abilis can be made on March 9 by visiting https://fcgives.org#npo/abilis.  Tuesday, March 7 is Fairfield County Photo Contest Day. Help us win $$$$$$ by visiting our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AbilisInc/. All you have to do is ‘Like” the photo we have pinned! The photo that receive the most “Likes” is eligible to win a special grant. Encourage friends and family to do the same. They must like our original post, “Shares” won’t count, so be sure to send them to our page: https://www.facebook.com/AbilisInc/.

Our Giving Day goals this year are to:

1.    Increase public awareness about Abilis, the many social and recreational activities Abilis offers, and the benefits they provide to our participants
2.    Raise funds to help support these activities

Abilis believes that all people deserve to live, learn, work and enjoy life! To support this conviction Abilis provides a wide range of daily social and recreational activities for teens and adults with special needs. These programs foster skills and interests, as well as friendships and a sense of community for almost 150 individuals in Fairfield County.
